The standard steel products are made of 2mm thick mild steel.
Although steel can be powder coated or painted, we don't
recommend these finishes as steel is prone to rust. This
material is offered for the sole purpose of an actual rust finish.
The rust finish will continue to rust - this acid induced finish will be accelerated the closer the products are to the coast or a high rust area.
If there is any concern about the rust
finish we recommend that you choose
products made from 3CR12 or stainless steel.
